James V. Flanagan

As a real estate broker for 28 years, I have had the pleasure of working with Jim Flanagan for many years on numerous transactions. He's always been very professional and knowledgable. Most importantly, he and his paralegals have great follow through, resulting in smoother transactions with a highe...r percentage of closed deals.

If you have to deal with him after he has been paid his fees, GOOD LUCK. He clearly did not seem to have the desire to be patient enough to allow me try and figure out why I was so confused after my closing. I do not believe I have ever gotten an email from a professional such as the one I received f...rom him the following day when he incorrectly thought I emailed his paralegal after I spoke to him. This is in addition to the fact that I was never aware of the extra charges he was charging me until we first met at closing.

The Flanagan office worked with us on a sale and a purchase of a home in Naperville. The transactions had challenges and complications and James did not make things easier for us. Flanagan lacked knowledge, patience, professionalism and common decency. At times he was flat out rude. This behavior tow...ards clients is completely unacceptable. It made the whole process extremely unpleasant. I would not recommend this law office to anyone. The only positive was that the paralegals did work hard and got the transactions done. Despite the rude attorney. Stay away.
