Mr. Spitzzeri lacks communication skills and knowledge of the law in terms of handling liens in a personal injury case. Hence the treasury department demanded payment from me. Mr. Spitzzeri refused to resolve or attempt to resolve this issue stating "Everything was settled don't worry about it" He refused to answer questions or concerns and took a larger amount of settlement than agreed upon. Most of the excuses were "I never received that" He did not inform client of closing office or a valid number or address to send information after knowing this lien issue needed to be handled. Any competent attorney knows government agency liens take priority over others and must notify them when settlement has been reached. Mr. Spitzzeri made inappropriate and false comments about me when reported to the Disciplinary Commision. He sent them pieces of paper work omitting pertinent parts.
Never sent documentation of ANYTHING. I could go on and on, point by point but it all boils down to the same issue.

I have worked with Fred as a fellow officer in the DuPage County Bar Association. Fred is a fine litigator in many aspects of the law including personal injury, administrative law and general civil litigation. He is a proven mediator/arbitrator. As a Bar Association officer he greatly expanded the DuPage Bar Foundation which is the Charitable arm of the DuPage County Bar Association. His efforts allowed the Foundation to increase the grants and scholorships that could be awarded. Fred is solid, responsibile and caring.
