Attorney Sbertoli helped me many years ago after another dishonest lawyer failed me miserably. He helped me sue to recoup money taken by an unscrupulous contractor. I will be forever grateful to this kind, intelligent, and very honest man. Mr. Sbertoli refused payment saying that since my first lawyer took advantage of me, he wanted to show me that there are good lawyers out there. I will never forget Mr. Sbertoli's kindness or how hard he worked to help me with my case. He is a wonderful lawyer and a very ethical individual.
Miscellaneous matters, including wills, trusts, general financial advice, debt workouts.
42 years
I was licensed in May 1981. I have been a general pratitioner with an emphasis on financial matters.
I initially handled mortgage forclosure matters on behalf of banks and also represented bank interests in bankruptcy cases. Gradually, I moved into representing debtors in debtor/creditor matters and bankruptcy cases.
I also handle residential and commercial real estate matters, business acquistions and sales.
I take the approach that most everybody who comes to me has some sort of problem that needs resolution, and they know it. My objective is to start with that problem and work towards a resolution that makes the best of a difficult situation. I believe in telling clients what the probable outcome will be.
