I was ticketed for failure to leave information after an auto collision with an unoccupied vehicle. Although my driving record is good, I did have a prior conviction for the same charge, years earlier. We were called up before the judge, very shortly after proceedings began, and were up there for, no joke, five seconds. This is exactly what the judge said: "Your lawyer did a great job. Case dismissed." And that was all he said. I did manage to wait until I got to my car before I did a 30 second fist pump but that was it! Case dismissed! I almost never get into trouble but things happen sometimes. I have his number memorized anyway. Michael Gilmartin is MY lawyer!
