Edward Hunter Olivieri

Mr. Olivieri is known throughout Cook County and its environs as an exceptional litigator who utilizes his trial skills, negotiating prowess and large network of relationships to successfully achieve his client's goals.  

Mr. Olivieri began his legal career as an Assistant State's Attorney in Cook County where he tried hundreds of cases at the trial, post-conviction, and appellate levels ranging from major traffic offenses to first degree murder.   

Subsequently, he worked at a boutique law firm where, in addition to his criminal practice, he represented corporations and individuals in commercial litigation, breach of contract, and collection matters; formed and advised not-for-profits; represented corporations and individuals before the Departments of Administrative Hearings for the City of Chicago and the Illinois Secretary of State and in the Circuit Courts of Cook, Lake, DuPage, Will, DeKalb, Ogle and Kane Counties.  

Mr. Olivieri served as counsel to The Roosevelt Group, a preeminent state and local government relations firm where he handled regulatory and compliance issues as well as advised elected officials on legislation, election law and constituent services.  

Today, Mr. Olivieri focuses his practice on all aspects of immigration law, with a particular emphasis on deportation defense, and continues to successfully represent individuals charged with criminal and traffic offenses. He leverages his wide range of contacts and trial experience to help his clients resolve their criminal, immigration or business challenges.
