This firm utilizes a team approach and each task or assignment is delegated to the proper person. So each task is billed differently according to that person’s rate. This includes a phone call, email, fax etc. it was my first and only experience using the billable rate system. It definitely makes you... think twice about contacting someone with a question or concern. Our case involved establishing paternity, an order of protection that was filed previous to hiring the firm that needed representation going forward and finally seeking full custody of the minor child who had been neglected by the mother. Tricky stuff. Looking back on it, our case was handled expertly and as timely as the court system allows. We had a completely satisfying result and full custody to child’s father was granted. After 3 years of harassment from the mother we are finally experiencing relief and normalcy. So, bottom line is yes, I highly recommend Gwendolyn Sterk Law Group. Not cheap though. I’d go as far as to say they are on the expensive end. But the result makes it doable. And they are willing to work with you as far as payment goes, meaning making monthly payments.

How does a divorce case cost you more than your two years income put together? I felt she took advantage my poor knowledge of legal issues and my fear of losing custody battle. They over charge, drag on cases and then take you back to court to cap the debt, which always falls in their favor. Gwendoly...n sends junior lawyers who lack certain knowledge. Her receptionist Alyssa... pathetic. I called to negotiate my debt during this Covid times and I got the most cold hearted response from Kelli M. Lardi, even after garnishing my wages for their payment. The only times I spoke to Gwendolyn Sterk was when she collected my retainer and when she called to negotiate my debt that get a lump sum. One thing I know.... God doesn’t like ugly. Run..... she will cost you your peaceful sleep as she sinks you in debt just to line her pockets.
