When a friend, who fought for years to overcome a drug and opioid addiction, got into very serious trouble, and landed in jail, yet again, we knew a lawyer was his only shot at any sort of good outcome. Who to call on a Saturday night when his court appearance was on that Monday? Well as luck would h...ave it, his first night at Cook County he shared a jail cell with a man who was being represented by Tim Nance and strongly recommended him. We got this information on a Saturday night and spoke to Mr. Nance the next day (Sunday) who drove from the other side of town to meet with us that morning. This was a serious case and he was quite frank about the need for legal representation either with him or he would provide us with two other names to consider. After speaking with us for over an hour and half we knew Tim Nance was our man. Hiring Tim Nance proved to be a very wise decision although the process was anything but smooth. It is a waiting game at Cook County which entails many short court appearances followed by more court appearances and then a few more while both sides gather all the information on the case which is referred to as Discovery. Throw COVID-19 in and everything is backed up and on hold even longer. Tim Nance continually counseled our stressed-out friend throughout this process and in the end he ended up with a very good outcome, which I believe had everything to do with Tim Nance’s handling of the case. This very well could have gone another way and surely would have had we not enlisted the help of Tim Nance. Mr. Nance is very skilled at what he does, knows all the players and how the court system works. I highly recommend Tim Nance and am most grateful we found him in the eleventh hour. We cannot imagine anyone else doing as good of a job.

I hired Mr. Nance to represent me on a very difficult criminal case in which I was charged with 2 felonies. First of all, his rate was very reasonable considering the 2 felonies and the fact that he had to appear in court for me a dozen times. More importantly though is the fact that he got the charg...es reduced to one misdemeanor. I didn’t even have to pay a fine or do any community service! I never usually leave reviews but in this case I felt it was a must. I hired Tim Nance to represent my brother in three different cases from the Bridgeview courthouse to the Daley Center. The cases ranged from DUI to driving without a license. The stress of court is daunting in itself. We were not... expecting good outcomes at all and felt jail time was eminent. Having attorney Nance made all the difference. He told us what to expect and what to do. We did our part and he exceeded his in court. He was professional, prompt and always did his due diligence on the cases. He was up front and honest and always prepared for anything. He worked miracles and my brother did not do any jail time.
