10/10

Mr. Nance is an exceptional attorney with not only an unwavering positive attitude but also has an exceptionally hard-working nature. His work ethic is unparalleled, and it shines through in his dedication to both the clients and the cases he represents. What really sets Mr. Nance apart is the abili...ty to consistently maintain commitment to the clients . I am particularly impressed by his focus on the bottom line. His enthusiastic interactions, even in this challenging situation, will always be a testament to his remarkable communication skills and empathy. Iam eminently satisfied that I hired Mr. Nance. From quick responses to excellent representation, 10/10 I would recommend Mr. Nance! Mr. Nance is thorough, detail-oriented, and consistently kept me informed about every development throughout the process. This level of transparency and open communication made me feel reassured and confident in his abilities. I was not found guilty nor fined harshly due to his remarkable knowledge and experience. THANK YOU MR NANCE FOR KEEPING OUR RECORD CLEAN !!!

Seeking repayment for myself & Justice for all

Mr . Nance is a horrible representative for innocent minority women as myself or any one who is innocent of a crime .He was hired by my family with my savings ,while I was incarcerated and I paid an initially $ 1000 to begin my case. Mr. Nance purposely disregarded my 1st court date and strung me alo...ne for over a year while I fought for myself in detainment . Eventually, with out any assistance from Mr. Nance I was able to get the judge to allow me to fight my case via electronic monitoring which , He adamantly tried to block even though he was paid his entire fee on $5,500. While On house arrest for 27 months. I pleaded with the courts and Mr. Nance for movement to take care of my children including my disabled son ,and to work to provide for my family which he ignored . Evidently the judge granted EM with little to none assistance from Mr. Nance . Time and time I prayed for signs to fire Mr. Nance after being afraid to do so ,as he constantly instructed me to plea guilty to a crime I never committed and lied saying that the law would not allow fingerprints search to prove my innocence even though my personal research said otherwise . Prayer works ! The first sign that I shouldn’t ignored was Mr. Nance showing up for court with a Black eye . Last but night least after 26 months of my freedom being deprived and the day I had exhausted my hope and decided to plea to a felony thinking it would give closure per Mr . Nance advice. A person case was stated in court before me with similarities to my case . With fingerprints as proof of the defendants innocence he was freed and his case was dismiss , right before my eye!!. I conveyed the information with Mr. Nance in the hallway were his temper became aggressive, instantly I begged the judge to remove him from my case and was appointed a free public defender who proved my innocence in weeks . The day of firing Mr. Nance , I asked him to refund some or most of my 5.5k since it was his own decision to constantly drag my case and not fight for my rights and he had did nothing to earn it . He responded that “ if I didn’t beat the case as his expertise of the matter was concern he would contact my family with a stipend for refund and that the law says he had as much time to release it as he fought my case “ which was 23 months . Subsequently, I was rightfully found innocent and 3 years later he will not respond to my calls for the money . This guy is not a trustworthy person and I see why he was injured with the black eye . I believe in higher faith and I know that one day he will reap what he sow . The 5.5 k paid to him in full was not earned and was a severe detriment to my family before ,during ,and after my case resolution. Thank god for the public defender in Bridgeview who notice my innocence and did the job he vowed to the bar to perform . Mr. Nance I hope one day you will treat people right and know it is innocent till proving guilty and not your job to intimidate and coerce a person to plea to a crime they did not commit . If I ever find a way to get my money I promise to challenge you for it. In the meantime have some dignity and treat all people the same regardless of race , gender background or your very poor judgement . God bless !!!.

This guy has been practing 40yrs and is still a no name

aggravated battery to a peace officer. There was no cameras (this happened at navy pier), no injuries, and they weren’t in uniform. At first everything was fine, then the state offered me probation. I told him I don’t want probation let’s go to trial. He flat out told me no, then COVID-19 stopped tri...als I told him give me a bond. He told me a million lies about how he can’t do it and that he can’t and won’t visit me. I later ended up on a tier with one of his clients who said Nance was visiting. I called him to confront him about the lie he told me “MIKE STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO” I later fired him and hired a new attorney, but during that process he refused to hand over the discovery. I had to wait an extra two months for him to get it. Thankfully as soon as I hired this new lawyer I got out LITERALLY in 2 weeks. This guy is a bum no name lawyer that’ll scam you out your money as a cheap hustle. I recommended hiring the new lawyer I got his name is David McDermott apparently Nance knows him but no other lawyer knows him XD.

Hire Tim Nance!

When a friend, who fought for years to overcome a drug and opioid addiction, got into very serious trouble, and landed in jail, yet again, we knew a lawyer was his only shot at any sort of good outcome. Who to call on a Saturday night when his court appearance was on that Monday? Well as luck would h...ave it, his first night at Cook County he shared a jail cell with a man who was being represented by Tim Nance and strongly recommended him. We got this information on a Saturday night and spoke to Mr. Nance the next day (Sunday) who drove from the other side of town to meet with us that morning. This was a serious case and he was quite frank about the need for legal representation either with him or he would provide us with two other names to consider. After speaking with us for over an hour and half we knew Tim Nance was our man. Hiring Tim Nance proved to be a very wise decision although the process was anything but smooth. It is a waiting game at Cook County which entails many short court appearances followed by more court appearances and then a few more while both sides gather all the information on the case which is referred to as Discovery. Throw COVID-19 in and everything is backed up and on hold even longer. Tim Nance continually counseled our stressed-out friend throughout this process and in the end he ended up with a very good outcome, which I believe had everything to do with Tim Nance’s handling of the case. This very well could have gone another way and surely would have had we not enlisted the help of Tim Nance. Mr. Nance is very skilled at what he does, knows all the players and how the court system works. I highly recommend Tim Nance and am most grateful we found him in the eleventh hour. We cannot imagine anyone else doing as good of a job.

Outstanding Lawyer

Great attorney, like someone out of the movies. I was arrested for a case that I had nothing to do with, and the police beat me, and abused my family. I called Mr. Nance while this was happening and he told me exactly how to handle it. Once the police heard who my lawyer was, they changed their entir...e approach and things changed dramatically. Once I got to court, Mr. Nance walked in the courtroom, and everybody was his best friend. My case was dropped, and I am now involved in a lawsuit against the police for violating my civil rights. You would be smart, if you have any kind of legal problem, to call Mr. Nance immediately. He will make a huge difference.
