aggravated battery to a peace officer. There was no cameras (this happened at navy pier), no injuries, and they weren’t in uniform. At first everything was fine, then the state offered me probation. I told him I don’t want probation let’s go to trial. He flat out told me no, then COVID-19 stopped tri...als I told him give me a bond. He told me a million lies about how he can’t do it and that he can’t and won’t visit me. I later ended up on a tier with one of his clients who said Nance was visiting. I called him to confront him about the lie he told me “MIKE STOP TELLING ME WHAT TO DO” I later fired him and hired a new attorney, but during that process he refused to hand over the discovery. I had to wait an extra two months for him to get it. Thankfully as soon as I hired this new lawyer I got out LITERALLY in 2 weeks. This guy is a bum no name lawyer that’ll scam you out your money as a cheap hustle. I recommended hiring the new lawyer I got his name is David McDermott apparently Nance knows him but no other lawyer knows him XD.

I hired Attorney Nance for two cases, both misdemeanors (out of different courthouses), and I thought for sure I was going to end up in jail. Not only did Attorney Nance get my first case completely dismissed, but upon handling my 2nd case - a violent offense may I add - he scored me only 12 MONTHS S...UPERVISION, no Community Service, and no Court Fees! He is absolutely amazing and after working with him on these 2 cases, and reviews from friends I know that have used him and gotten their cases completely dropped because of him, I would never use another lawyer. He is affordable, professional, and personally cares about each client he works with. 5 STARS!

Payed Mr Nance 4000.00 also referred clients his way out of good faith thinking he was going to keep his word and work hard at helping my son. All he did month after month was continued my son's court dates. My son sat in Cook County for over a year! Never asked for a bond to be set. Finally I got... tired of going to court and ask him to end this and he did. My son got 4yrs for battery? That's what the Public Defender offered so I hired Mr Nance. I could of saved myself 4000.00 if I would of known that Mr Nance just wanted the money and not do a thing to help my son! I believe in karma and hope for justice.

From my first encounter with Nance, I knew that he would go above and beyond my expectations. He is a very reasonable attorney and he gets the job DONE!!! Thanks Nance for being there for my family.
