I hired this attorney based on the positive reviews. It is unfortunate that I did not have the same experience. Amber was very unresponsive to calls and emails. I followed up each time to get a follow up. She seemed very disorganized. Even her responses to emails were very short and did not address e...very question I asked. I will never recommend this attorney to anyone.

Attorney Amber Wagginer, is professional, aggressive, and extremely knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked for better representation and would refer her to anyone going through a family law legal matter. I have been in court since 2002 trying to receive child support from a deadbeat dad, who not only... didn’t want to pay child support but didn’t pay taxes either. My case was much more intense than the average child support case. I was represented by the state’s attorney for the first few years, and they had put orders in place. Unfortunately, my ex didn’t abide by the court orders and the state’s attorney really didn’t follow through with other options. I then decide that I would obtain my own attorney; I had a consultation with a highly recommended, well known attorney from my area. She appeared to be intrigued with my case and gave me hope that she could take care of the issues. I realized about six months later she didn’t care about me or my case; I was just another client file that would bring revenue in. Every time I called, I was told she wasn’t available, that they would have her return my call. After many attempts she had her paralegal return my call, to be treated as if I was disturbing and irritating, with total disregard that I was the paying client. It was confirmed, that practice didn’t have my best interest in mind an unethical. A few years ago I had met Amber at the gym, I knew I liked her right away, we just clicked. After talking I learned that she practiced Family Law, so I asked to have consultation with her. After I explained to her how the past decade had been with this case, she was appalled at the run around that I had received. Amber is heaven sent, she took my case on as if her life depended on it. Despite the fact she is young, she is highly competent, caring, and knows Illinois family law. I was always treated respectfully and received quick responses to my questions. I appreciated the time and the thoughtfulness that I received. I’m so happy that after 12 years, justice had prevailed on the account of Amber.
