Biography
Attorney Thomas W. Lynch has over four decades of experience in tax, financial, and real estate law. A graduate of DePaul University, he became a Certified Public Accountant before joining the Internal Revenue Service in 1979. As an Internal Revenue Agent, he audited tax filings and later worked in the Special Enforcement Division, investigating complex cases and assisting with federal prosecutions.
While at the IRS, he attended John Marshall Law School, earning his law degree in 1986. After leaving the IRS in 1987, he joined the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, where he spent five years handling state tax matters in the Civil Tax and Revenue Division.
Since 1992, he has led his law firm, focusing on bankruptcy, tax disputes, real estate, and business matters. His extensive background in tax enforcement and financial law provides clients with knowledgeable legal representation for debt relief and tax-related challenges.
