Dennis (“Denny”) Koonce graduated from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and went on to obtain his Juris Doctor at California Western School of Law in San Diego. He is a licensed attorney in California and Illinois and has been involved in real estate finance and real estate law for over 30 years.
His professional experience includes services as a real estate lawyer representing buyers and sellers in purchase transactions and services as a title insurance agent conducting title examinations, drafting title commitments and issuing title policies. He has closed hundreds of loans in his capacity as a lawyer, a title closer, a broker and a lender.
Prior to American Portfolio Mortgage, he worked as a mortgage banker with The Federal Savings Bank and Chicago Bancorp.
