I spoke with several lawyers about my case before talking to Mr. Caprio. They ALL told me I would be facing jail time, I become nervous... But a family member of mine referred me to Mr. Caprio. Mr. Caprio is very straight forward with you regarding your case. For my case, even before agreeing to hire him as my lawyer, he sat me down, looked it over, looked at me and told me that the likelihood of winning was very slim. He then proceed to tell me some ideas that he had regarding the defense ...of my case. He gave me his card and told me to think it over. I told him I don't need to think it over, you're hired! After hiring him, I probably called him 20 times to talk about the case and every time he kindly listened to all of my concerns and was able to remind me of the game plan...always calm and reassuring. Even when I dropped by his office unannounced, he rearranged his schedule to sit down with me. I can honestly say he cared about me. Our game plan - Getting the judge to toss out the breathalyzer results. At the court hearing, Mr. Caprio was able to establish that there was no reasonable grounds for me being placed under arrest. He called the patrol man to the stand to paint a picture of what happened that night through the officer's eyes. Through Louis' questions and the facts stated in the police report, Mr. Caprio made a very convincing argument that led the judge to agree with him. With that, the judge had the summary suspension rescinded and the breathalyzer results are now inadmissible.
