Adam Matthew Salzman

Adam M. Salzman  received his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles and his Bachelor of Arts in Russian and Slavic Studies from New York University. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, as well as before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, of which he is a member of the Federal Trial Bar. He is a member of both the Illinois State Bar Association and the National Association of Children’s Counsel.

Mr. Salzman is committed to safeguarding the rights of fathers and their children by providing tough, focused and personalized legal representation, always putting the client’s needs first. He has earned a reputation in the legal community as a fierce, level-headed combatant in the emotionally-charged, frequently contentious practice area of Family Law and Child Custody and for his unwavering commitment to the rights of individuals who all too often do not have a voice.

Mr. Salzman began his career representing children in Juvenile Court with the Cook County Public Guardian’s Office. In this role he represented abused and neglected minors in the Child Protection Division and routinely restored the visitation rights of parents whose children had been taken by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. He regularly fought for the removal of children from foster care to the safe and stable care of their biological fathers.

He brings a background of zealous advocacy and passion for protecting the father-child relationship to the firm’s Marital and Family Law practice, where his expert experience in legal strategy and litigation prowess are put to use aggressively defending the rights of fathers and their children.
