Kurosh Khajeh Hosseini (known as Cyrus to English speakers) is an accomplished leader in his community and in the legal profession, having represented Cook County citizens in over 300 bench trials. Kurosh has an extensive and comprehensive understanding of Illinois civil procedure, with experience before the Appellate and Supreme Courts.

Mr. Khajeh Hosseini earned his Juris Doctorate from Valparaiso University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a volunteer in his community, training under privileged youth the importance of team work, life skills and physical activity as a soccer and tennis coach. Kurosh is also a Board Member of the K.L.E.O. Community Family Life Center, a non-profit organization and facility dedicated to strengthening families and providing a safe haven, through education, training and support for people of all ages in the Chicagoland community.

Real Estate closing attorney hero
Cyrus assisted my daughter and me in buying a home on Chicago’s North Shore. The first mortgage company was severely incompetent, missed deadlines, changed tasks & deliverables to the point it nearly cost us the home. Cyrus was firm yet professional throughout the process and was able to work with sellers counsel. Faced with potential daily fees past the agreed closing date, Cyrus recommended another company. The deal closed in 10 days. After 2-1/2 months of complete frustration, we closed. Cyrus is a patient pro and cuts through the minutiae of real estate contracts & closings. We recommend him highly. Cyrus always has his clients best interest in mind and is fair but firm when issues arise from the other side.

Great!
I had a particularly strange case of foreclosure where I could have been liable for deficiency judgement on a house that I didn't even own anymore. While some other lawyers suggested to fight the foreclosure (which I knew would just result in more money spent and more aggravation), and some suggested bankruptcy, Cyrus suggested a simple, human approach. Instead of getting into prolonged, hostile arguments with the opposing counsel he explained my situation and managed to convince them to not pursue the deficiency. I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical at first but in the end they stayed true to their word and have not requested deficiency (not even IN REM!) in the final order of sale ! In addition to that Cyrus was very fair and reasonable with billing and was also available via email or phone whenever I had a question regarding the process. I highly recommend him!

15-minute Landlord or tenant advice session session
The session went well and was very effective. Attorney Hosseini was very helpful for me to understand my right as a landlord and how to handle property selling processes per the lease contract. At the end of the session, he asked me to send my full lease contract by email for him to confirm whether he gave the right advice to me "for free." So I sent him my full lease as an attached file to his email. Obviously he took time to review my full lease and got back to me next day by email with detailed explanations/clarifications about what was discussed during the session with his review of my full lease "for free" even after the session as he promised. He's very considerate, kind, knowledgeable, and even generous for giving his clarification by email after the session. I will definitely contact him for any further legal services. I really appreciate his help and advice. I strongly recommend you to have Cyrus K. Hosseini Attorney at Law for any legal services or consultation sessions.

So far so excellent
