Ms. Roxanna Hipple represented me in my convoluted personal and corporate bankruptcies. I can recommend Ms. Hipple without hesitation for bankruptcy representation. Her legal experience, knowledge, integrity, professionalism and negotiation skills were invaluable to me with handling my corporate and personal bankruptcy cases.
Ms. Hipple and staff promptly responded to all of my inquiries and professionally addressed issues as they arose.
The corporate bankruptcy was chapter 7. It primarily involved a failed real estate development transaction.
My personal bankruptcy was chapter 13. Ms. Hipple Clearly explained the process and steps to me. There were no surprises and the matter was resolved quickly and efficiently. Then came Covid. I defaulted on my plan. Ms. Hipple worked with me and the trustee to restructure the payments to prevent a default.
2.5 years after the bankruptcies, another attorney approach the trustee and attempted to have my bankruptcies overturned. Ms. Hipple responded promptly to the court and quickly resolved the matter. The court requested Ms. Hipple to assist the other attorney to conclude the matter correctly.
I was worried of additional legal expenses that I could not afford. Ms. Hipple reminded me that my initial retainers covered all matters relating to the bankruptcies. This was a huge relief.
I have dealt with many attorneys over the years in my profession. Probably an average of 6-10 per month for the last 15 years. Most, I feel, need to be removed from practice with their underhanded dealings and flat out misrepresentations to their clients. Used car salespeople have more morales than most attorneys I have dealt with. I never had to file bankruptcy prior to this time. Ms. Hipple handled this matter with expertise and professionalism beyond what I had experienced before with any other legal firm; and since.
I would highly recommend Ms. Hipple for her knowledge, professional and integrity.
Thank you-
Robert

Great help
Roxanna is very professional and thorough. I had a lot of tough issues in my case and she helped work through them all. Through COVID to boot.

Unprofessional and Condescending
I will say right now that, yes, we arrived 10 minutes late to our estate planning consultation due to traffic and a lengthy walk from the parking garage into the office. That being said, no amount of lateness on our part could have possibly excused the rude, impolite, and unprofessional treatment we received from this particular attorney in the span of only about 15 minutes. From the get-go, she was rushing us. There were virtually no introductions exchanged. Before even asking what type of specific legal advice or services we were seeking, she took from me our existing wills (that needed to be revised) and an estate planning questionnaire we had completed ahead of time, and started rifling through them, repeatedly asking us if our intentions (as described in the existing wills) are still the same. She also asked if either of us work with or are particularly familiar with these types of legal documents. We told her no, as neither my husband nor I have any legal background whatsoever. That should have been her first clue that she needed to take the time to explain things to us. We are well-educated people with advanced degrees. Unfortunately for us, however, they are not law degrees! Instead of showing us some respect, she proceeded to rush through a rough explanation of wills and revocable trusts. We had many questions along the way (since we are not lawyers), but each time we tried to get a word in edgewise or ask a question, she glared at us with a look of disgust on her face. I had thought we were there to have a conversation, but apparently we were supposed to sit down, shut up, and be lectured to. From the expression on her face to the tone of her voice, she was condescending and arrogant towards us. She had the nerve to tell us that we were repeatedly interrupting her when we were merely trying to have some dialogue and ask questions. Perhaps she only wants to deal with clients who are already well versed in estate planning? She appeared horribly inconvenienced when I asked her a question regarding how a revocable trust actually gets funded and just kept saying "I don't do that - that's not the kind of work I do." The ultimate offense came when she then proceeded to say that she would rather just "end this right now". We could not have agreed more and walked out. To make this whole experience even stranger, she muttered, as we were leaving, "be sure to report me". I was walking away from her, but I think she also murmured something about reporting us! Report us to whom?! And for what? Seeking legal advice? We don't know if she was in a hurry to be somewhere else, doesn't like to do estate planning (apparently this firm specializes in bankruptcy law), doesn't need clients, or is just an incredibly impolite person, but in no way, shape, or form can we recommend this firm because of her behavior. This was truly the most bizarre meeting we've ever had with any professional. In my opinion, some customer service/client relations training would appear to be in order here. One star goes to the nice facility and friendly receptionist.
