Auto accident

I was referred to George Acosta by a friend, at first meeting, I had confidence in George. There was clarity every step of the way and he put my bride and I at ease that Acosta & Associates would care for our best interests. We know that George Acosta is a seasoned Attorney that we can trust! We are ...grateful for the results of our case.

Thank You

I was involved in a car accident last year and George came highly recommended. I called him and he came to see me in the hospital. He was very helpful and understanding to my situation. He responded to all my questions and correspondence in a timely manner and would definitely recommend him.

High level of integrity and honesty

My son was injured in a car accident almost 4 years ago, when he was 17. I had been dealing with the insurance company of the at-fault driver from the beginning, keeping meticulous notes and documents. About two weeks before my son's 20th birthday, which is the deadline for accepting a settlement for... the case, I called Mr. Acosta for advise about the offer I was given. I left a message, and surprisingly he called back within minutes. We talked for quite a while about my son's case, the extent of his injuries, his medical history, etc. He concluded, based on the information I gave him on the phone, that the offer we were given was just a little lower than what we would most likely get if he took the case and filed suit. Given the little extra money that my son would receive after the lawyer fees and the amount of time it would take for my son to get that money, he recommended that I go back to the insurance company and ask for a little more. He admitted that he would love to get the fees from this case, but he would feel bad that the end result would be just a little extra money for my son. I took his advise and did receive a slightly higher offer and now this long chapter is over. His integrity and honesty thoroughly impressed me and I will definitely hire him in the future, if the need arises, although I hope it never does.

An attorney's services are not always required. In this case, the insurance company's offer was on the low side, but my getting involved would result in a 33% fee coming out of the settlement amount. It was a better result for the client to tell the insurance company that she was about to hire me, but that if the settlement offer was raised a bit, the case could be settled without litigation. In this case it worked out. The client retained 100% of the settlement amount. I evaluate each and every case on its merits and on its fair settlement value before recommending to a client that I get involved. I will say that in the vast majority of cases, retaining a qualified attorney will result in the client receiving more in the end, even after the 33% fee is deducted, than they would by attempting to deal directly with the insurance company (unrepresented). - George Acosta

Family Tragedy Support

In mid 2017 we lost our son, who was 28 years old, in a horrible traffic accident. One of the first people I contacted, for guidance and advice was George Acosta. The professional help and guidance he provided to our family was beyond anything I had expected or hoped for. He helped us, and our ...daughter in law, navigate and get through the toughest event and times we had ever experienced. He did everything with kindness and compassion and treated us like we were family. His skills and experience , dealing with the other lawyers and insurance companies and even the court system were obvious at every turn and the outcome could not have been better. I could not provide a more positive recommendation than I do for George Acosta. Feel free to contact me at anytime if you would like to discuss his services. He has been a blessing to our family and I'm sure he can be to your's as well. Kip / St. Charles, IL

Family Friend

My husband passed away last year, he was 28 years old. George Acosta knew my husband as a child, being a family friend and neighbor. My father in law consulted with George in the early stages not knowing what we needed to do. The amount of paperwork and bills that come through when someone dies is o...verwhelming. The vehicle insurance companies were coordinating for the settlement but the health insurance put a lean on the settlement. My father in law and I contacted George knowing now that we needed to hire a lawyer. George knowing my husband and our family took on my case pro bono. Himself and his team made the process smooth and simple. With out him I would have been at a loss, I didn't know the process or terminology. I could not have proceeded with out him, nor is my emotional state able to do so. He is an expert and gave me the knowledge, help and care that I needed. I will be forever grateful.
