Honest and caring

He is outstanding answered my call immediately and returned my follow up call fast. I got shut down by other lawyers because my case is considered small and not very profitable which is true. However george was the first to take his time to review everything and explained to me how things will turn... out. He advised to reach back out if my problem isnt resolved. I really appreciated his advice.

I was involved in a car accident last year and George came highly recommended. I called him and he came to see me in the hospital. He was very helpful and understanding to my situation. He responded to all my questions and correspondence in a timely manner and would definitely recommend him.

High level of integrity and honesty

My son was injured in a car accident almost 4 years ago, when he was 17. I had been dealing with the insurance company of the at-fault driver from the beginning, keeping meticulous notes and documents. About two weeks before my son's 20th birthday, which is the deadline for accepting a settlement for... the case, I called Mr. Acosta for advise about the offer I was given. I left a message, and surprisingly he called back within minutes. We talked for quite a while about my son's case, the extent of his injuries, his medical history, etc. He concluded, based on the information I gave him on the phone, that the offer we were given was just a little lower than what we would most likely get if he took the case and filed suit. Given the little extra money that my son would receive after the lawyer fees and the amount of time it would take for my son to get that money, he recommended that I go back to the insurance company and ask for a little more. He admitted that he would love to get the fees from this case, but he would feel bad that the end result would be just a little extra money for my son. I took his advise and did receive a slightly higher offer and now this long chapter is over. His integrity and honesty thoroughly impressed me and I will definitely hire him in the future, if the need arises, although I hope it never does.

An attorney's services are not always required. In this case, the insurance company's offer was on the low side, but my getting involved would result in a 33% fee coming out of the settlement amount. It was a better result for the client to tell the insurance company that she was about to hire me, but that if the settlement offer was raised a bit, the case could be settled without litigation. In this case it worked out. The client retained 100% of the settlement amount. I evaluate each and every case on its merits and on its fair settlement value before recommending to a client that I get involved. I will say that in the vast majority of cases, retaining a qualified attorney will result in the client receiving more in the end, even after the 33% fee is deducted, than they would by attempting to deal directly with the insurance company (unrepresented). - George Acosta

What you want an attorney to be.

I have worked with George a few different times, and in all cases he was professional, responsive, caring, and most of ALL successful on my behalf. George is a good listener, and explains things in a way that a client appreciates, not allot lawyer talk. I have, and would continue to recommend and use... George. He also is not afraid to make a referral in a situation we he feels he does not have the expertise, not many attorneys, in my opinion will walk from business. PS, I am not a relative of George, :) some bad humor

Excellent for bicycle cases

I reached out to Mr. Acosta at the recommendation of a bike advocacy group after being hit by a car on my bicycle. Mr. Acosta called me back right away and took his time to explain all my options and gave advice on what to do without any pressure to hire him. Of course I did choose him because of th...e support, information, and his relaxed attitude which is markedly different from other attorneys I consulted with who just wanted me to come in and sign paperwork to hire them. George kept me updated throughout the process and was able to secure a settlement much higher than I ever expected to receive! His paralegal Debi is very helpful as well. Overall I highly recommend Mr. Acosta. He obviously enjoys his work, is friendly and approachable, generous with his time, and very good at what he does. If you want an attorney who will go above and beyond and who actually cares about your case, I recommend George Acosta.
