Jessica was the third attorney I worked with. After two prior experiences, I was hopeful and more cautious this time. I took the time to speak with her over the phone a couple of times before officially retaining her, and those conversations gave me hope. She seemed confident, compassionate, and enga...ged. Unfortunately, once the representation began, the experience didn’t align with those initial impressions. The firm operates under a flat-fee billing model, which sounded appealing at first—especially after dealing with hourly fees previously. I assumed this structure would bring faster momentum and more active engagement, but for the first several months, there was minimal progress, limited communication, and difficulty reaching my attorney. When I did connect, I often felt like my concerns weren’t being taken seriously, and the tone had changed significantly from our earlier calls. At times, I felt like the focus was on closing the case quickly, even if it meant accepting unfavorable terms. This left me feeling alone and overwhelmed—precisely the opposite of what I had hoped for. In fact, my stress and anxiety were at their peak during this period. It felt like no one was truly listening or advocating for me. To be transparent, this was the most difficult part of my entire legal journey. Personally, I would not work with this firm or with Jessica again, as I had the worst experience of all four attorneys during this phase.
