Omar Tayseer Sulaiman

Omar T. Sulaiman is a founding member of the team that became Sulaiman Law Group, LTD. Since 2004, he has been an integral part of supporting and growing the firm into the success it is today. In fact, he was critical in holding the firm together after a 2010 tornado that destroyed the office. After graduating with a political science degree from Loyola University Chicago, Mr. Sulaiman attended the John Marshall Law School. While attending law school, Mr. Sulaiman worked as a law clerk at Sulaiman Law Group, LTD with an emphasis in bankruptcy. Mr. Sulaiman also devoted his research to various other areas of consumer defense. Mr. Sulaiman currently focuses his practice in consumer defense and bankruptcy. Acting on behalf of consumers to remedy creditor abuse and harassment, Mr. Sulaiman employs such federal laws as the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the Bankruptcy Code with an emphasis on Illinois consumer law, mainly as it pertains to the Illinois Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business Practices Act (ICFA). He is a consumer law discovery expert and his drafting and research abilities are second to none.
