My Practice: My primary areas of concentration are estate planning, transactional law, and real estate. I also have extensive experience in business succession, not-for-profit law, and legal issues concerning church ministry.

 I endeavor to practice law in a way that honors my Christian faith. I strive to provide not only the best legal advice, but I also care about my clients on a personal level. My background also includes biblical counseling and financial consulting based on biblical principles. I welcome phone calls from all areas of legal and non-legal concerns and am open to helping those in need when it is possible for me to do so. While my practice is Christ-centered and spiritually-led, I believe diversity provides opportunities for education and growth and as such, work with clients from backgrounds different than my own.

Experience:

Over the years, I have honed my skills as an attorney in three distinct areas of concentration: estate planning, transactional law, and real estate. 

Estate planning includes the preparation of wills, trusts, family planning, business succession, and strategies to minimize potential tax liability. 

Transactional law includes the starting, maintaining, selling and purchasing of all types of business entities.  Advising on corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships is part of my representation.

 Real estate includes the buying and selling of residential and commercial property as well as the drafting and review of leases.  

Education:

I graduated from Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska, in the Spring of 1989, with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration concentrating in Finance and Marketing.  I then went on to Thomas M. Cooley Law School and received my Juris Doctorate Degree, with Honors, in the area of Sales and Negotiable Instruments, in 1993.

Personal:

I am a member of Harvest Bible Chapel and attend the Rolling Meadows campus.  I am a supporter of Christian education. My goals are to acknowledge the Lord in everything I do and to use the gifts He has equipped me with to serve Him.
