Michael F. Stefanos

Before becoming a licensed attorney, Michael Stefanos spent nearly 20 years in the automotive industry, where he learned the tricks of the trade. Michael started in the automotive business from the ground up, beginning as a service porter and eventually working as General Manager of a local Ford dealership. Throughout his automotive career, Michael assembled and led numerous sales teams, introduced several branding campaigns, was responsible for the day-to-day operations of a 50mm business unit, and garnered several industry awards along the way. While Michael’s career in the automotive industry was certainly rewarding, Michael realized that the industry was unfortunately plagued by deceptive and unethical business practices that left customers without equal bargaining power for recourse against the mega dealer.

Michael attended DePaul University College of Law and graduated at the top of his class. Shortly after that, Michael immediately utilized his salesmanship and teamed up with some of DuPage County’s most successful criminal defense attorneys. As a student of some of the leading criminal defense attorneys, Michael learned to navigate the court system, forged relationships in his practice, and ultimately built a brand for himself.
