For almost 30 years I have handled DUI cases and domestic battery cases, I have appeared in Federal Court, State Appellate Court and have presided at local Arbitration Hearings. I happily take phone calls at all hours to ensure that my clients stay informed and educated on the progress of their cases.
In DUI cases, driver's can take quick actions to prevent the suspension from taking effect, don't sit on your case and wait until the first court date. Call and we can get the ball rolling to stop the suspension.
Many Domestic Battery cases are filed because the police "had to charge someone" we can take those matters to trial and demonstrate how weak they are.

Extemely talented and professional
I contacted Mr. Flavin about a speeding ticket I recieved 20mph over posted speed limit. I also have a CDL so i need this fixed and not on my record. Ray was very responsive to me and always polite. He put a few of my fears at ease and told me not to worry about it. Long story short he got my moving...
"Ray Flavin is that special kind of defense lawyer that never uses a template for handling DUIs or criminal matters. He approaches every case with a critical eye, and a knack for finding the weaknesses in the state's case. I have seen him win cases that other attorneys would have found overwhelming. Hiring Ray is a no-brainer if you get a DUI in McHenry County."
"I endorse this lawyer. Ray is a fierce advocate for his clients, and for the constitutional rights of all persons in our justice system. Ray initiated important litigation to combat excessive fees and fines for litigants, and is a vocal proponent of protecting the rights of the accused in all such matters. Ray cares about getting his clients the best possible outcome, but will also give his clients a realistic picture of what that is. For all these reasons, Ray has earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues here in McHenry County."
"I endorse this lawyer. I have known Ray for decades. Here are two things to know: 1. I know of no other lawyer who knows more about the DUI laws in Illinois than him. 2. I know of no other lawyer who goes to trial and wins more DUI cases than him. This combination works to strike fear in the hearts of prosecutors. A truly zealous advocate for justice."
"I endorse this lawyer. Ray is a seasoned criminal defense attorney, who is never afraid to take cases to trial."
"Ray Flavin is an excellent DUI and Criminal defense attorney. His passion for his clients and their rights is one of his many strengths as an attorney. As a fellow attorney who has witnessed him in the Courtroom, I would highly recommend Ray!"
"I endorse this lawyer with no reservation. An extremely talented and well respected attorney in the legal community. Very hardworking and diligent. Consistently achieves superior results. Advice is always practical and on point. I recommend to anyone looking for an attorney who knows the law and truly cares about protecting the rights of clients and achieving the most favorable result possible."
"I endorse this lawyer. As evidenced by his stellar advice on this forum, he is an extremely knowledgable attorney!"
"I endorse this lawyer. Ray first worked for me when he came to this area He was then and is now an outstanding lawyer"
"I endorse this lawyer. He really cares about his clients and works hard to get the best results for them."
"As a criminal prosecutor, I faced Ray Flavin in many DUI cases including contested jury trials. Ray is highly-skilled in litigating DUI cases. Ray is very thorough and understands every facet of the DUI investigation, arrest and prosecution. He knows where to find and exploit weaknesses, if any, in the government's case. He has won many cases that he shouldn't have won.....some against me. Now, in private practice as a "competitor", I still have great respect for Ray's skill. He knows what he is doing."
"I endorse this lawyer. Ray is a highly skilled trial attorney who has successfully represented hundreds of defendants in criminal, DUI and traffic cases. He aggressively defends his clients in a efficient and professional manner."
