Retail theft

This attorney agreed to take on my case in 2012 and get paid once I settled a malpractice case, but he will not say how much he would charge me for felony retail theft case after five or six months I was not happy with the way he represented me in this case I let him go and now he's charging me$15,0...00 case.Yes he should get paid for the time and work he put into my case but I don't think it should be that much. I will be filing a complaint against him with Illinois bar association.

This review is pure fiction. I have never & would never represent a client contingent upon the outcome of an unrelated case. I would not represent a client in a criminal matter without an appropriate retainer being paid & in a felony matter a written representation agreement would be required, which would reflect the fee charged.

Don is good people

Don't let this man's soft-spoken, retiring, and unassuming nature fool you. Underneath all that is a sharp mind, a wealth of experience, and a set of brass you know whats that should clank when this man walks. Don is a very good lawyer. Don got the best possible outcome for me in a criminal matter..., in a court and environment that is traditionally stacked heavily against someone like me. He navigated red tape and roadblocks with ease, and negotiated hard in my favor and best interests. From his initial consultation to court appearance after appearance, Don was open, frank, and realistic about what will be going on, but was also supportive through the entire experience and ordeal. His estimated costs, payment terms, retainer, and billing were clear and simple. While I hope to never be in a position where I'll need Don's service's again; if I do, he will be my first call. Don is a good person who has earned my full trust.

With Sincere Thanks

"With Sincere Thanks" Attorney Donald Singer represented me in the past regarding a family matter. The case was very difficult and lengthy . I recently contacted Attorney Singer on another family matter and both were settled successfully . Attorney Singer has always been conscientious, very prof...essional,prepared,understanding and supportive. He provided a great service to me and I have recommended him to others. I have also known Attorney Singer since the 1990's working with him at an outlying court house of Chicago. It was a pleasure to work with him. Not only was I Attorney Singer's client we became friends. I have been able to rely on him. I have to express my sincere thanks and appreciate all he has accomplished for myself and family. Sincerely Ellen
