Eased my stress during pregnancy I will never forget how he handle my case and won it.

Mr. Alpert was outstanding throughout my civil lawsuit. He was kind, empathetic, and extremely thorough, taking the time to explain each step of the process clearly and honestly. His responsiveness and attention to detail made a stressful situation much more manageable. I always felt heard, supported..., and confident in his guidance. I highly recommend Mr. Alpert to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate attorney.

Extremely personable. Actually cared about my case and not just the money.

Ken was graciously enough to take my case. Not only was Ken professional he was polite understanding he got to know me as a client instead of just asking for money up front. He reviewed my case. I was more than happy with the end results. The judge that we went before only gave him 10 minutes to prep...are for the case. In the end the case was dismissed. Removed completely. I am grateful for Ken and his experience as a lawyer. His prices were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend him to everyone, friends, family. You will not regret hiring this attorney.

Professional, Efficient, Compasassionate and Very Trustworthy

My mother who is in her 90’s was being harassed and stalked by an estranged family member, half her age for the past two years. This estranged family member was served with a legal notice from my mother’s family attorney two years ago, with a trespass notice not enter onto her residential property. T...his notice did keep the estranged family member off of her property, along with this person being notified by the police also. The problem did not end, this individual then began appearing on the public sidewalk at numerous times of the day when my mother would step out to retrieve her mail or check on the lawn service or trash pickups. This individual began driving by her home and parking in front of her home constantly making it impossible for my mother to open her front door in fear of being verbally harassed. After numerous harassing and stalking incidents, we were able to obtain an emergency civil order of protection in June of 2023. Due to this being a civil order and not a criminal matter, my mother was advised by the issuing judge to obtain the services of an attorney to protect her rights. Most important to attempt to have the emergency order extended to the full two- year term as the law permits. Thanks to a family friend of ours who is an attorney he recommended Attorney Ken Alpert who we were told has vast experience and knowledge of these matters of orders of protection. We scheduled a meeting with Ken at his office in Park Ridge along with my mother and her family attorney. After a few minutes into the meeting, we all knew that Ken was the lawyer we needed in this case. The estranged family member retained an attorney who began filing numerous motions in court to have the emergency order dismissed.  At the end of our first meeting which lasted well oven an hour we retained the services of Ken. We could all tell that Ken would be treating this case as if he was defending the rights of his own mother. Working with Ken over the past six to seven months was a pleasure and we also received constant updates on his progress of the case, by e-mails, text messages, phone conversations and additional meetings at his office. Ken always responded to any questions we had in this matter. After a harassing deposition my mother was ordered to sit for, Ken and my mother’s other attorney were there also to protect her from being harassed or forced to answer questions which did not pertain to the order of protection case. Finally, after the estranged family member lost all the motions that were filed and lost due to the preparation Ken had put into them to keep from having the case dismissed, we went to a hearing date. After two days of evidence being presented by Ken, his direct examination of myself, my mother, my mothers neighbor and her family physician, the case ended in my mother’s favor. Due to all of this evidence being presented, the presiding judge had a conference with Ken and my mother’s personal attorney and opposing counsel. By court order the estranged family member agreed to a court order signed by the judge to have no contact with my mother for a two- year period ending in April of 2026, and to stay hundreds of feet away from her home and person. If this order is violated, a contempt of court violation could possibly be filed and the original Order of Protection Petition would be reinstated by the presiding judge. From our experience, Ken is a very honest, ethical and knowledgeable attorney who cares about his clients, especially when Ken sees what they have been dealing with, mentally and physically, especially when they are elderly.  Ken also assured us that if any violations do occur in the next two years that we should not hesitate to contact him for further court action if required. Ken’s fees are very reasonable and he goes beyond what many other attorneys will do for their clients. We highly recommend Ken and would definitely retain his legal services in the future.

"I endorse this lawyer. I first met Ken when he was a Cook County States Attorney. He was always well informed about the law, conscientious, and very fair in his views on how to handle each particular case on a case by case basis. Ken is now a defense attorney and he brings that same intelligent hard working ethic with him every day. I had the pleasure of being a co-counsel with Ken on a recent felony trial and he was very well prepared, articulate, and excellent in his trial practice. I highly recommend Ken to anyone looking for an honest, hard working attorney to represent him or her in their particular case."

He made careful decisions about cases that reflected a clear understanding of both the law and the practical issues that were involved, and when he chose to fight, fought hard. "I have known Kenneth Alpert since I was a law student. During that time I have seen the prosecutor who had an encyclopediac knowledge of the law turn into a veteran attorney who still have the knowledge as well as an unrivaled depth of experience. He is not given, as some attorneys are, to empty bluster. Rather, he was one of the more observant men I have ever met. He takes in a situation, understands what is occurring, then acts swiftly so that he does not waste his client's time or money. I'm still proud to know Mr. Alpert and have come to rely on his sound advice and greater experience in regards to my own practice. I wholeheartedly endorse this attorney."

"I first met Ken when he was a prosecutor in Skokie many years ago. He immediately struck me as an unusually smart and fair-minded attorney. Ken was a formidable adversary, but his toughness was blended with healthy doses of common sense and humor. In more recent years, it has been my pleasure to work with him on many cases. He is a hard-hitting and aggressive advocate for his clients, yet he enjoys a high level of respect among prosecutors and judges. I have frequently had him help me out with cases when I was occupied in other courts, always with exceptional results. He is the kind of attorney who talks softly and greatly exceeds expectations, and I can honestly say that he has sometimes achieved results that I am not sure I could have achieved myself. He has done terrific work for my clients over and over again, and I know that he can do a terrific job for you. This is one attorney you can trust without reservation."
