The Best Real Estate attorney

I have not only hired Colin on 3 separate occasions (2 real estate transactions and 1 debt collection) but have had 7 colleagues / friends / family use him to represent them on their own home purchases / sales. I found him through one of these referrals. He is honest, accessible and straightforward.... He is THE BEST at what he does.

Excellent Real Estate Lawyer

There is no question who I call when a real estate lawyer is needed. My husband and I have hired Colin Gilbert 3 times over the past 4 years! He helped us through the legal aspects of purchasing our first house, selling our condo (which was unfamiliar territory as a result of a cash, no agent invol...ved, deal), and selling a rental property. Mr. Gilbert always made himself available to answer questions, and communicated promptly and professionally. His presence at each closing ensured we were educated and comfortable with the transaction. I would highly recommend hiring Colin Gilbert.

Real Estate Agent

Colin does quite a bit of work in our area. I have had the privilege of working with Colin on both sides of the table. As an agent, there is quite a bit I need to do in order for a deal to be a success, it's 3 parts- client, agent ans attorney. Colin is clear, specific and reliable. He gives/ off...ers the real picture and sticks to ethics. In this biz, many agents disappear when things get mucky and clouded, when they should br guiding their client's. and many times, holding clients accountable Colin and his team stick through to the end and they deliver results. I like to work with conscientious professionals that stick to principles and ethics. I would hire, refer and work with Colin any day of the week.

Would not recommend Colin Gilbert

Colin represented us in a real estate purchase. When a issue with the contract arose, Colin was quick to clarify the he "does not litigate". This contradicts what is on his profile. Colin was condescending, uncooperative and smug. He did the bare minimum for our transaction. Search for another lawyer....

Does not take contingency collection cases

Mr. Gilbert was the only atty who replied of the 5 I inquired of about accepting a $17K collection case on a contingency basis. He only works on them on an hourly basis.
