Biography
Wayne B. Addis is a founding member of Addis Greenberg, L.L.C. His practice emphasizes Criminal Defense, DUI/ Traffic and Municipal Law. He represents clients in a wide variety of litigation matters before State Courts, Arbitration and Mediation Panels and Administrative Agencies. With over 40 years of experience, Mr. Addis has achieved tremendous results for his clients both at trial and through settlement.
Mr. Addis also spent seven years as Assistant State's Attorney for Cook County, serving as a First Chair Felony Trial Assistant at the main Criminal Courthouse at 26th and California. He also was appointed as a Special Assistant State's Attorney to the President of the Cook County Board.
Along with his partner, Joel Greenberg, Mr. Addis serves as the Village Prosecutor for Northbrook, Morton Grove, Glencoe, Kenilworth, Wilmette, and City of Park Ridge, Illinois. In that capacity, we prosecute Ordinance Violations, Traffic, DUI, Code Enforcement, Animal Enforcement, and Building Code Violations. We regularly provide advice and counsel to Police, Fire, Development, Engineering, Public Works and Community Service Departments.
