Steven Earl Glink

I highly recommend Steve Glink. He was professional, direct and to the point. Steve has a wide breath of legal knowledge - on more than one occasion Steve referenced legalise to other lawyers which they were unaware of. I had a very complicated case that lasted almost three years, included a school ...district, the state attorney's office, the police, and DCFS. It also included interviewing witnesses, reviewing camera footage and writing several briefs. While I was anxious and confused, Steve was an oak in a tornado. Steve did not offer his opinion carelessly, he treated everyone involved professionally, and, most importantly, he won. I was wrongly accused by a very heavy handed power structure, and Steve was an excellent legal mind, and a professional in all ways.

We found ourselves in a position in which our child was being threatened a year dismissal at university for a party not present at, yet being charged because on the exec board of fraternity. The codes were COVID and underage alcohol-related yet he was not there to break. Steve used his knowledge of p...rocess and precedent and we did prevail with all charges being dropped. He advised us and was available anytime we needed to speak. We had hired someone else first and in fact, had moved to Steve via a recommendation. Highly recommend.

We hired Steven at a desperate moment when our son had gotten into trouble. We where desperate and he used scare tactics to get us to retain him at a high rate. When it came down to protecting my son's rights he did nothing. My son got the max penalty. There are two things that are really distu...rbing about how he represents us. The first, he talked us into accepting the worst penalty with out explaining what was happing. I feel he only did this because he had already been paid. Second, and the most important reason, never to use Steven is that after he was paid he was unwilling to help. He walked us into accepting a 45 day alternative placement. We signed It because one of the schools that the district had on the list we felt could finally really help our son. When the school district later was unwilling to code the referral so my son could attend this school Steven did nothing to help for over two weeks. Finally I called the schools attorney to see if I could over come the situation. I got a finally I got a nasty call from Steven telling me this how unprofessional my action was. My reply is I hired you too fight for my son and you did not so I had too. Do not hire Steven Glink we will not fight for you!!!
