Katharine Sarafina Hatch

Katharine “Kat” S. Hatch is a tenacious litigator and trusted advocate who skillfully pursues her clients’ goals in divorce and family law matters. With over 40 trials and numerous bench trials, Ms. Hatch’s extensive courtroom experience ensures she is a formidable negotiator and a strong advocate when litigation is required. While she strives to resolve cases amicably, she is prepared to take decisive action to achieve her clients’ objectives, balancing patience and strength to deliver the best results.

Ms. Hatch’s 15 years as an assistant public defender provided her with invaluable experience handling complex felony cases, including domestic violence and orders of protection. This background honed her litigation skills and gave her a unique perspective on guiding clients through crises. Her work with the Therapeutic and Intensive Monitoring (TIM) court team further deepened her understanding of substance abuse and mental health issues, which often arise in family law cases.
