Chicago area attorney representing homeowners, life insurance beneficiaries, business owners and private disability policyholders in their insurance claims. I have experience litigating in state and federal court and have handled appeals all the way to the writ of certiorari stage at the United States Supreme Court, and petition for leave to appeal at the Supreme Court of Illinois.
Call my office if you have received a denial, a reservation of rights letter, a demand for examination under oath, or the insurance company is investigating the cause and origin of your fire for arson. I can help with your claim for insurance, from preparing a sworn statement in proof of loss to litigating a denied claim.

"Steve and I attended law school together, and often had class together. He always was obviously the smartest kid in class, and had very interesting takes on cases, always thinking outside of the box. As we both went on into practice, Steve became my go-to mentor for all kinds of random issues, a sounding board to bounce big ideas off of. His tireless commitment to the environment coupled with his background in small business makes him compassionate to all people, great and small. One of the best attorneys with whom I've ever worked."
"I am happy to endorse Steven B. Pollack. The contributions of attorney Pollack on Avvo are consistently accurate, analytic, and customized to the needs of the askers. He is highly knowledgeable and gives generously of his time to help those in need of guidance. These are precisely the qualities that every client would look for when hiring a lawyer."
"I endorse Mr. Pollack for his services and valuable contributions on Avvo. He donates his time and expertise to those attempting to find answers for their legal questions."
"I highly recommend Steve. I sought Steve's guidance on a matter involving a client who had disputed life insurance and pension claims. Steve navigated the complexities of the matter with ease and promptly communicated with the client. He provides superior service and is an excellent attorney!"
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I have know Steven quite a while, before he entered law school. Steve is quite determined in accomplishing his objectives. He is very diligent and follows through on his goals. He cares very much about the environment, and the passion comes through in his work. Therefore, I can firmly recommend Steve knowing he will be determined in his efforts and will work to obtain the common goal."
