This was not the easiest of cases but Denis and Tyler certainly delivered their best. I can't click enough stars for Denis and Tyler. Both worked extremely hard on my foreign judgement case and jurisdiction case. They were with me every step of the way and not once did I ever feel like they weren...'t doing their jobs. They always say "you get what you pay for..." I got so much more than what I paid for. I didn't realize when I hired Denis *30 MINUTES BEFORE MY HEARING* that I had just hired one of the best attorneys I've ever had. He ensured to call me before every hearing. He also ensured that he called me AFTER every hearing. Ensuring I understood what was said and to give me a chance to ask any questions I may have come up with while in the hearing itself. Denis Gravel is an amazing attorney. Cumulatively, he spent about 5 years working on my case. I do not think there any words to describe how wonderful and amazing Denis Gravel Jill Fox, and his team truly are. Let me start by telling you I am a Single father that now has custody of his beautiful 11 year old daughter, thanks to Team Gravel. Quick summary. My ex decided she wanted to keep me fr...om my daughter, who is a total daddy's girl. I had to act fast and everywhere I turned no one had the time to take my case or maybe did not want to my emergency custody case that I filed with the courts, but Denis did the day before my court date. We went to court the next morning after meeting him the for the first time the night before for and hour and gave statements and the next morning they fought tooth and nail for me. I was in aw by the end of the day, because my daughter was home with me dad in a matter of hours. I now have custody of her and she is getting the life and education she deserves because of Team Gravel. So all you single fathers out there that think there is no hope for you getting custody of your child Please think again and call Denis he is a miracle worker in the court room. This was no easy case either cause my daughters mother was very fit and stable person as well and we had a woman Judge but Denis made the judge see who the child should be truly living with. I could never thank Denis Gravel and Jill Fox enough for what they have accomplished for my daughter and I. This is who you definitely want representing you in any custody case. When I first began working with Lindsay J. Roalfs ( Now at Denis Gravel) she came across as an intelligent , if not spunky individual whom I thought would benefit me in court. In my last court date , she showed up, but neglected to tell me she was leaving her firm that day!! I found out because the... old firm emailed me the following Monday to let me know she resigned! In spite of that I decided to continue with her at her new firm, even though I knew I had to pay a retainer again! I agreed to come all the way to the office in Gurnee from downtown to make a payment and sign paperwork. I had a question for the young "lady" who was behind the counter and proceeded to hand her my CC for payment. She then says we don't take credit cards. I responded that I had literally called the office 20 minutes ago and the person who answered assured me that they do take CC. She then walks off in a very unprofessional manor and states "he has a funky attitude" mind you there were clients and co-workers in the office all of whom could hear. Then my attorney Lindsay walks up and proceeds to berate me in public , in front of her staff, and clients ,like I am her 7 year old son. She screams (literally) at me to "get out of her office" that she "told me we don't take CC (what legitimate law firm doesn't take CC?) and I'm calmly trying to tell her fine I will go and make a cash withdraw. She then screams at me "Get out of MY office" and she is "no longer working on my case". This was all in plain view of both clients and coworkers. I have NEVER experienced such a blatant display of unprofessionalism in my life! None of this is made up, and almost brought me to tears, as I walked out of the office. To think a woman with a law degree would chastise a client of hers like a child in front of both clients and staff is appalling! This after me having already paid thousands of dollars. There are many lawyers out there who wont treat people like a piece of trash and I STRONGLY recommend anyone go elsewhere. I have retained a new firm and are in the process of contacting the ARDC, as no one regardless of circumstance should be humiliated , especially in front of clients and coworkers, completely and utterly unacceptable. Buyer beware!
