Heather Eckert

Heather received her Juris Doctorate from Northern Illinois University College of Law, and her bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois at Springfield. While attending Law School Heather spent time learning about family law while practicing under a licensed attorney at the school’s Legal Clinic.

Prior to joining Gehris & Associates, LLC., Heather practiced personal injury law. She is a formidable advocate while offering compassionate guidance to her clients. She believes that each client is unique and takes pride in her ability to listen to and work with her clients on an individual basis.

Heather is a dedicated attorney with extensive practice assisting clients from diverse backgrounds. She welcomes the challenge of supporting her clients through the daunting journey of divorce and family law proceedings. She is skilled in working with clients to problem solve and resolve their complex and overwhelming legal issues. She understands the stressors her clients face and works hard to be a valuable asset.

Outside of work Heather enjoys spending time hiking with her dog and watching horror movies.
