Joseph C. Farwell

We hired Mr. Joseph Farwell in 1997. He prepared my mother's will and trust, and created a FLP for her farmland. Personally, we liked him very much. However, his lack of follow-through at returning phone calls eventually led to our having to go elsewhere for our legal services. He was never in ...the office when we called, apparently at the time he was more interested in his political career than his legal career. If he no longer wanted to work for us, he should have let us know by phone or letter, rather than just ignoring us completely. When we did hire another lawyer, who was a qualified estate atty, we found that the FLP that my mother paid Mr. Farwell to prepare was worthless in her situation. Mr. Fawell's bills were paid by my mother promptly and in full, so there was no reason why my family received this unprofessional treatment. Therefore, I do NOT recommend this attorney.
