When I started my own practice, my goal was to provide my clients with compassionate, competent legal representation, and open, effective communication. That was and continues to be my goal with each and every client. My practice focuses mainly on family law issues including divorce, parentage, child custody and support, post-decree issues, pre-marital agreements, adoption and guardianship and I am a trained divorce mediator. I also frequently represent clients in domestic violence and order of protection cases, criminal misdemeanor, traffic offense, and landlord/tenant cases.  

The divorce process is emotional and life changing and the associated legal process can be daunting. My goal is to listen carefully to my clients, provide them with excellent legal representation, and ease the transition through the divorce process. My philosophy is to reach amicable solutions whenever possible in order to reduce stress, emotional strain, and litigation costs. However, amicable resolutions are not always possible. In those instances, as a trained litigator, my philosophy is to protect the rights of my clients and zealously advocate for their interests.
