Not trauma informed or DV informed

I would not recommend Tiffany Lonnevik if your case involves domestic violence or requires trauma-informed legal advocacy. In my experience, she did not demonstrate a strong understanding of how spousal abuse is also child abuse, which is especially important when representing protective parents. ...Over the course of a year, I sent multiple emails expressing concerns about my child’s safety and asking whether she would advocate more strongly. I believe no parent should ever feel like they have to beg their attorney to fight for their child’s wellbeing. Tiffany also recommended Christina Larsen as a guardian ad litem (GAL) in my case. Based on my experience, I do not believe Ms. Larsen applies a trauma-informed approach to custody investigations. She stated under oath that her primary training in child abuse and family violence came from law school, more than two decades ago. Once a GAL is appointed in Flathead County, removal typically requires either agreement from both parties or a judge’s order — so it’s important to understand who you are agreeing to. In my case, Ms. Larsen did not conduct any psychological, chemical dependency, or parenting evaluations. Her investigation consisted of brief emails, two phone calls, and one office visit with me. A social worker she assigned conducted one home visit that lasted approximately 45 minutes. Ms. Larsen never directly observed either parent interacting with the child. During one of our phone calls, she made a comment that I found especially concerning: after I raised concerns about the child returning home in diapers that were too small and causing rashes, she told me I should "be happy your child is coming back in diapers at all." That moment shaped my understanding of how seriously my concerns would be taken. Tiffany also recommended Navigation Services for supervised visits and safe exchanges, and I want to say that they were excellent to work with. I felt safe using their services and appreciated their professionalism. However, another provider they sometimes use—Pat Sylvia—was a different experience. It took months for her to consistently refer to my child by the correct name, and there were other issues that I found troubling. If you are considering this service, I would be happy to privately share more specifics to help others make informed choices. I’ve been navigating this difficult system for nearly two years, and my goal is to help other protective parents feel less alone and more empowered. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to talk or compare experiences. You don’t have to do this alone.

Horrible!

Find another Lawyer before choosing her. For a very simple divorce I was charged almost $9k! Calls not returned, emails ignored for months! Horrible communication and she treated me like an idiot. To make long story short, she sold me out and my ex gained due to her negligence. If you have a d...eep financial pocket and like someone with a high ego then she's your girl. Always trust your gut though cause she's spendy and you will get nada!
