Ms. Finch opened her law office in 1994 and has represented individuals, families, children, incapacitated and protected persons, developmentally disabled persons, guardians, conservators, trustees, personal representatives and family members in family law, divorce, custody, property settlement, elder law, guardianship and conservatorship, trust formation and administration, supplemental needs trusts, estate administration, guardianship and trust litigation, and estate planning. She also serves as a pre-litigation screening panel chairperson in nursing home claims.
Ms. Finch practices in Kalispell and Western Montana and in Boise, Idaho and surrounding southwestern Idaho.
Growing up in a small town in northwestern Montana, Ms. Finch was active in 4-H, community activities, and sports which provided her with the opportunity and privilege of working side by side with multiple generations. Ms. Finch draws upon these life experiences in her practice which caters to the legal needs of families, often spanning several generations.
Ms. Finch is known for her advocacy, compassion, and dedication to her clients’ interests. Ms. Finch recognizes that legal issues involving family members is personal and can be emotionally charged and works to resolve the legal issues at hand outside of the courtroom when possible. In cases where resolution is not possible without the assistance of the Court, Ms. Finch advocated for her clients in contested family law, guardianship, probate, and trust cases in southwestern Idaho.
In her spare time, Ms. Finch enjoys sport and lead rock climbing, traili running, nordic skiing, mountain biking, running, contra dancing and spending time with her family. Ms. Finch has coached youth soccer for over 13 years and holds her "E" license. She is an avid fan of the Boise State Women's Soccer Team, where her younger team plays Goal Keeper for the Broncos.
