Wilton is a great asset to the legal profession

Wilton is a great asset to the legal profession. He is incredibly responsive, thorough and provides great analysis of any legal issue he takes on. He has a gift for getting to the heart of the issue and finding effective arguments and solutions. I would highly recommend Wilton to anyone in need of... his services.

Prompt, Solid Legal Advice at Very Fair Rates

I am an attorney who hired Wilton as a consultant on a case that I was litigating in his state. He has assisted me for the past 18 months with research, strategy and pleadings. He responded very quickly to all of my emailed requests for assistance (often within the hour) and, when he could not respon...d immediately, typically emailed me back to tell me when he would be free. Wilton provided great research and well-written pleadings, as well as brainstormed about strategy. I'm very grateful for his assistance and highly recommend him to anyone, whether client, or attorney.

Wilton Strickland is a Rarity Among the Over-abundance of Attorneys

My extensive and costly experience with incompetent, dishonest and self-serving attorneys caused me to ultimately avoid hiring attorneys for any reason, that is, until I met Wilton. He is one of the very few honest competent attorneys I whole heartily recommend. Wilton was able to incisively cut ...through the opposing side's frivolous arguments and helped devise a cogent and persuasive rebuttal.

Organization Documents for Non-Profit

Wilton drafted all our documents needed to start our non-profit in Montana. Wilton is very professional and detailed, he came to our board meeting with a checklist of all the items that would be required to start our non-profit both on the federal and state level. He also had a list of items he nee...ded from us to complete our organization’s documents for the State of Montana. Wilton also provided our organization with suggested documents that we would want to have internally to run our non-profit. His organizational skills reduced the amount of time that was needed during the board meeting which allowed us more time to discuss other issues. Wilton is very knowledgeable and he was able to answer all of the board member’s questions and well as provide valuable input. Wilton was able to complete these documents very timely and at a reasonable price.

Wilton H. Strickland

In all the years that I have been involved in litigation, I have experienced few attorneys who have been willing, and able, to assist a pro se client who is battling a corporate Goliath's fraud. Wilton Strickland is an exception, whose legal expertise, writing skills, moral values, and fairness in c...harging legal fees has been a meaningful experience. I highly recommend him.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I'm in Florida and had a complex Motion for Summary Judgment that involved a family law matter under the French Civil Code and a business contract dispute in Florida. I had a rudimentary skeleton of the points I was trying to make, some random assorted case law for each. Attorney Strickland took what I had, and put together a thoughtful and exceptional motion in ten days, that I would not have been able to write, even if I had worked on it for 3 months. I could not clearly articulate what I was trying to say. He studied the matter, and came up with a clear, compelling Motion that was unparalleled, in terms of content, draftsmanship, and stylistically. He is a amazing with legal research, supplementing my arguments with additional case law I never would have found. He engaged in the case, and jumped in with both feet, as if he and I had been co-counsel from day one. He's scarily smart. He may live in Montana, but he knows the FL. Rules of Civ Pro better than I do. HIGHLY recommend."

"I endorse this lawyer without hesitation. Our law firm hires Wilton on many of our difficult and challenging cases. When we have a particularly thorny legal issue, our firm will reach out to Wilton, and he never disappoints. He is incredibly sharp, with a very strong analytical mind and an ability to produce the highest quality work product in a short amount of time. Our firm will continue to go to him on our largest, most difficult legal issues, and our firm feels incredibly lucky to have him help our lawyers."

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
