Lucy has provided me a closure to a custody dispute that has lasted over 6 years. I had hired a lawyer back in '05 and the way he handled my case left me feeling like he didn't really care and he was only doing it because I had paid him. I feel Lucy took my case very serious and was available to me a...t any time I needed. Believe me when I say I called her a lot! Every time, always answering my questions and giving me advice. The custody dispute got to the point where it was nasty, Lucy was able to help me through a lot of that and, as it stands right now, I have gotten everything I've asked for from the judge. Something I haven't been able to do by myself or with previous lawyers. She really has made this so much easier. Lucy was able to get me full custody of both my daughters. My youngest isn't my biological daughter. After 5 years of DFS involvement, police reports, documented abuse, I tried everything to get the kids in my care. I worked very hard and got as much legal help as I could from the self-help Law Center. Nothing would happen. I finally broke down and contacted Lucy, who was recommended to me be my kid's counselor. It wasn't but 5 months before we were in court and the judge granted me custody of my kids. Their mom fought it all the way. I have limited experience with other lawyers but I can say that if I ever get another lawyer they will be held at a high standard and have some big shoes to fill. Lucy is incredibly understanding and will work with you to fulfill all your legal needs. Lucy comes highly recommended, I can say with confidence that Lucy is one of the BEST, not just as a lawyer but as a person.
