I would have given 10 stars if I could! I was being investigated for a crime that I did not commit and I called several law firms in town before speaking with Abby. The responses(from the receptionist) from the other firms I called was generally "okay, well I'll let ___ attorney know you called a...nd they may get back to you in a week or so" . I understand that people are busy and can't always just jump on a call and having hired multiple lawyers previously (divorce), I was aware that the initial consult(s) can take a while. I did a small amount of research, and Abby's resume was impressive so I put her on my short list of attorney's to call. When I called her firm, Ryan Miller Law, the receptionist picked up and I thought "okay, I let her know you called and she'll get back to you". Instead, the receptionist checked with Abby and she immediately took my call and spoke to me. Again, as mentioned, I've hired several attorney's previous to Abby, so I've gone through the consult process, and they're generally (in my experience) not overly reassuring, but when I spoke with Abby, I could feel my cortisol levels begin to drop. After hearing what was going on, she was confident that she could help, and she did a good job at explaining the process amd potential outcomes in layman's terms that I could understand. I decided to hire her, but doing so was going to be financially difficult as I was already paying two other attorney's (divorce in two states), Abby had sympathy for this and worked with me to set up installments for payment. Leading up to my interview with the detective, Abby and her wonderful Paralegal, Maya, put everything together with impeccable attention to detail and organization. Abby brought me in to the office to prep for the interview, her and Maya also did an amazing job at not only preparing me, but also helping me feel confident in a very stressful time; the stress relief alone was worth the money! My interview with the detective went well all due to Abby and Maya's work. After the interview, Abby continued to provide me with updates and checked in on my general well-being. Abby will be a force to be reckoned with for a long time, and I couldn't think of anyone else I would want on my side!
