Abigail Coburn

I would have given 10 stars if I could! I was being investigated for a crime that I did not commit and I called several law firms in town before speaking with Abby. The responses(from the receptionist) from the other firms I called was generally "okay, well I'll let ___ attorney know you called a...nd they may get back to you in a week or so" . I understand that people are busy and can't always just jump on a call and having hired multiple lawyers previously (divorce), I was aware that the initial consult(s) can take a while. I did a small amount of research, and Abby's resume was impressive so I put her on my short list of attorney's to call. When I called her firm, Ryan Miller Law, the receptionist picked up and I thought "okay, I let her know you called and she'll get back to you". Instead, the receptionist checked with Abby and she immediately took my call and spoke to me. Again, as mentioned, I've hired several attorney's previous to Abby, so I've gone through the consult process, and they're generally (in my experience) not overly reassuring, but when I spoke with Abby, I could feel my cortisol levels begin to drop. After hearing what was going on, she was confident that she could help, and she did a good job at explaining the process amd potential outcomes in layman's terms that I could understand. I decided to hire her, but doing so was going to be financially difficult as I was already paying two other attorney's (divorce in two states), Abby had sympathy for this and worked with me to set up installments for payment. Leading up to my interview with the detective, Abby and her wonderful Paralegal, Maya, put everything together with impeccable attention to detail and organization. Abby brought me in to the office to prep for the interview, her and Maya also did an amazing job at not only preparing me, but also helping me feel confident in a very stressful time; the stress relief alone was worth the money! My interview with the detective went well all due to Abby and Maya's work. After the interview, Abby continued to provide me with updates and checked in on my general well-being. Abby will be a force to be reckoned with for a long time, and I couldn't think of anyone else I would want on my side!

I was involved in a lawsuit that made absolutely no sense, I never knew everything that went into a lawsuit. Abby was able to explain exactly what was happening at all times, and really helped me to understand the process, along with what was happening. The stress of a lawsuit is enough on it’s own, ...but in the midst of a global pandemic, I cannot believe Abby was able to help me through this without ever having to go to court. I have a clear record and only paid minimal legal fees.

I was charged with a DUI back in March and knew I had not made it easy on myself to remedy my situation. On top of my DUI charge I had other charges including refusal to blow and fleeing/eluding. I searched for a week to find a lawyer that could help reduce many of these charges, if possible. I found... the offices of Stack & Kottke and sat in with Abigail Rogers and Katy Stack and found them to be the most reassuring and reasonable. The knowledge of the situation and what they could do was very straight forward and positive. Since that meeting Abigail was assigned to the majority of the case from reading all the court documents, making calls, keeping in contact with me, and appearing in court on the day of sentencing. Throughout the process I had many questions and concerns and Abigail was great at addressing them either on the spot or as soon as she could answer. She updated me promptly once she received and reviewed new information. She was very flexible with communication via phone or email, which was a huge help. Abigail gave my case the attention and expertise of a very professional lawyer. I wanted this process to move along quickly so I could resume my life more normally and begin paying my debts to society. In just a little over a month we got the plea deal I was satisfied with and one big question about the details of work release right before sentencing. Katy and Abi made some calls and got the answer I wanted to hear. So we walked to court and the plea agreement was accepted by the judge. I'm not happy with what I did and am working on the ways I can change, but I am happy that I received an outcome that seems more reasonable to recover from. I am very glad I found a lawyer that was as concerned with my well being as I was. Highly recommend Abigail Rogers.

Abigail Rogers, along with Katy Stack, regarded my case with professionalism and courtesy. I left their initial consultation better informed and optimistic about my charges. From my omni-hearing to the day of my sentencing, Abigail and Katy kept me well informed and up-to-date on developments with my... case and responded promptly to e-mails and phone calls. They were able to negotiate to withdraw nearly all of my charges through a plea and give me the best possible resolution. I still had to pay for a stupid mistake but, thanks to Abigail and Katy, the consequences were far more manageable than they would have been without their help. Their fee, compared to that of many other defense attorneys here in Missoula, is much more manageable as well.
