I was very open to engaging his services. I have means where my S/ O doesn’t. Needed a consult on a parole violation. And potentially other matters. He was out of office. Spoke with a female who took the pertinent info down. Said he’d likely call or at least they’d set up a consult in a few ...days. I had to remind her she didn’t take my number before we hung up. It’s been over a week. I called and got a male phone answer. (Think he must hire an answering service). I explained I was still waiting but to take me off his call list. I got an excuse about a family emergency. Good save on part of the receptionist. But I believe it’s bogus. He didn’t care they were losing business no we are very sorry, here’s what we’re going to do. I’ll be sure to call a “top Lawyer” instead. When it’s a legal issue it can’t wait a week. He certainly doesn’t appreciate that enough to hire staff or an answering service that can follow up proactively to tell you he can’t get back to you. One thing that makes any consultant or professional of value is letting you know your needs are important to them. I would never engage his services if he can’t get even his first contact right.

Felt very lost Seems like he didn’t want to take the time to explain exactly what it was I was supposed to be pleased you did not take into consideration as my kid or is it the thousands of dollars that I spent him and because I I didn’t do a plea he quit got an attitude and told me that he was wasti...ng his time I don’t think that was very good professional etiquette

After 3 long years and a lot of financial loss due to the "Prosecution Claim" I was referred to Mr.Stevenson by a very good friend, he w...as willing to meet with me free of charge for a consultation on a Sunday we spent 4 hours going over the discovery that I had gone over with the last 2 attorneys and 3 years. I had plead guilty week before (Via a plea agreement) awaiting sentencing suggested by one of those other attorneys. Mr. Stevenson had open ears listen to all of it! Was able to get the Guilty Plea reversed and was not going allow me to take the fall. His persistence of my innocents and the law after 3 years during Jury selection the State Dismissed the charge! Then things got even worse, in one case, which had appeared a pretty open and shut case, He ended up never attempting to fight the case and the prosecutor had changed the plea deal in the last minute, consequently doubling my already unusually harsh jail sentence, fines, fees and disappointment. The ...next case was much more important considering I was facing a felony. He had me thoroughly convinced we could get dropped to a misdemeanor. So when he told me that even if I had gotten it dropped to a DUI, it would be my 3rd charge resulting in a felony either way. Well as Montana's codes and statutes apply, Interestingly enough, it turns out it is in fact 4 Consecutive DUI's which constitutes a Felony. So I ended up getting a felony when I had expected a DUI, and got an extra long sentence for a min. cutoff THC DUI... This case occurred in 2013, and sadly enough I'm still on paper after getting my probation revoked. I chose to let the state appoint me a Public Defender in that case, I've been fairly pleased with him overall, next time I've already decided ill be the one to represent my corporate fiction.
