Matthew B. Gallinger

Matt’s practice involves many areas of litigation including commercial litigation, family law matters, and personal injury/accident litigation. Matt also has a significant amount of experience with real estate disputes, estate matters, and insurance defense work.  He knows and understands the importance that personal rights and family law have on our daily lives.

Matt grew up in Billings. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Montana, and received his juris doctorate from the University of Montana School of Law. During law school, Matt worked as a law clerk and was a student attorney in the Criminal Defense Clinic, a setting where students can put their legal education to work before heading out into the “real world.”

Prior to joining Tolliver Law Firm in Billings, Montana, Matt practiced at Herndon, Sweeney and Halverson.

Matt is a member of the Billings Mustang Boosters, Yellowstone Bar Association, and the Montana Defense Trial Lawyers Association. In his free time, Matt enjoys experiencing all that Montana has to offer including: golfing, spending time with his wife and daughter, and fishing.
