Alexander F. Reichert

My son made a bone head decision while attending college in North Dakota. After a few beers he decided to drive to get fast food instead he received a low blood alcohol DUI with a minor consumption. Should he pay some price for this? Yes. Should he pay the rest of his life with it never leaving his r...ecord, complicating career planning and even the ability to get some jobs? No. Alex is a fantastic attorney, he even spoke to my son before I hired him to lift his spirits and tell him that his future was not over. Alex was very clear on the difficulty of these cases these days. I will tell you this: If a mistake was made or something overlooked Alex will find it. He knows the law and especially local issues far better than the officers or prosecution. Not only did Alex win the administrative hearing for my son he went on to get all charges dropped. For my son..Lesson learned. Like I said..Alex ....The Greatest!

We hired Mr. Reichert for representation in a severe felony case. Being new to the legal system, never hiring an attorney before, and the severity of the charges, I wanted to make sure we hired a very good attorney. I met with Alexander and he talked of his credentials, the organizations he is in,... and how he has tried at the supreme court, etc. Though he was more expensive than the attorneys I contacted in bigger cities, I was impressed and plus he was local. So we hired him. Big big mistake. He seemed to not have time for this case, or did not care. It was quick money.....a very large sum of money and he didn't have to put much time or effort into it. His form of communication was sending copies of any documents he received, with no explanation. Does not return phone calls when we would call wanting to understand what the document means. Cancelled appts we made with him because we wanted to know where things are at, did NOT give copies of plea offers, so we don't know if there really ever was any other than the one signed. Through the little communication we did have with him, he would tell us something and then at court he would say something completely opposite. I could stomach the outcome of this case better if I felt he really cared.I could go on and on, but to sum it up, He did not care and is not trustworthy. A public defender would have given more time and energy.

We would of done a great deal better representing ourselves in the court of law without Alex Reichert, he did NOTHING to help resolve the case, actually delayed the outcome which was NOT positive. Did not return phone calls did NOT show up for probation meetings as stating in agreement. Did NO backgr...ound work into our case. HORRIBLE!! Never plead guilty and Never use Alex Reichert. Please don't let him into your legal issues, it has been a complete nightmare and speaking with other Lawyers about the specifics of our case, we were mishandled, misinformed, and misrepresented in the court of law.
