Gus Layman in particular was amazing to deal with. I feel fortunate to have had his assistance with my case. I could tell he really cared about me as a person and he worked very hard on my case. I couldn't be happier and have referred several close friends and family to him.

Gus Layman's determination and clear understanding of workers compensation enabled me to win my case. He is very kind, honest, and extremely ethical. I could not imagine how anyone could have done a better job on my case. Thanks Gus!!!

Mr. Gustav Layman is an excellent attorney whose knowledge of law is exceptional. In any business it is impossible to meet unrealistic expectations and the law is no different. The success of any legal case is determined primarily by the facts of the underlying claim. No lawyer can take bad facts and produce a great outcome. In some cases, unreasonable expectations and an unwillingness to acknowledge negative facts results in a dissatisfied client. Rather than accept that the unfavorable facts of his case are what is responsible for the modest outcome that was possible, this client has chosen to blame his attorney. Attorneys are not magicians. No attorney could make this client happy. In fact, this individual went through two attorneys with another firm on this same case and had his case rejected by a third attorney before I agreed to try and help him make the most out of the difficult facts of his case. This is what you get for trying to help. I should have known better. I felt bad for this individual and sincerely wish the evidence available would have been more favorable to his claim. What he has posted is simply not true. Unfortunately, anyone can post dishonest reviews about you on the internet. Best of luck to him in the future despite his efforts to hurt my reputation.
"Gus is a hard working, intelligent, and passionate lawyer. Although we compete for the same clients, as it were, I would highly recommend Gus."
