Please check my website for links to the Minnesota Court Self-Help Center, government services, St. Louis County resources, a list of websites for *all* other local attorneys and many other links that I have found helpful. (I try to have all other lawyers and current info on my website, let me know if there's anything I should add.)
My clients are Iron Rangers who want quality legal services at a fair price. If that sounds like you, please call or email me for an appointment. I refer criminal, personal injury and bankruptcy matters to local attorneys who specialize in those areas.

Slow and rude
Had her type up 100 words in order to turn in a stipulated order for parenting time which took her three months and charged $400 for a piece of paper that I could've done myself. Very slow worker and her response rate was terrible. During the period she had went on vacation without giving me any ...
My first thought is that this is from an opposing party. If I'm guessing the right case, my work was done promptly and emailed. The email either did not go through or was in the spam folder, I simply sent it again when asked (it was in my sent folder). If this is a different case than that, I can't think of it. I do end some calls quickly for which I feel bad and apologize but it is somewhat unavoidable when I don't bill for brief phone calls so I try to keep them brief. My first discussion with every client is how they can do the work themselves and I support people doing their own work if they want to try. I hand out blank forms and direct people to the Self-Help Center all the time. I link to free information and forms on my website. When I'm hired to type 100 words, I also have to read the entire document, listen to at least an hour of my client's concerns (typically), make sure the added words are in all the right places, and put professional thought into the whole process. I agree that many people see no value added when there are no errors to catch in a proof-read, but here I sit having to charge for my time in order to stay in business. Sorry. Finally though, I do not seek family law business, the only family law cases I've taken this year have been clients telling me they don't have the $1500 minimum retainer requested by the other lawyers they contacted, and I couldn't talk them into going to the Virginia Courthouse Law Library on Tuesdays or Thursdays or the Hibbing Courthouse Law Library on Wednesdays or Fridays for the FREE self-help service there. So I don't recommend me either for family law, I'm not rude but I may well be an expensive luxury. I did go to the TBD Law Conference in August but read my emails and returned phone calls while there.

Second lawyer but clearly the better of the two lawyers, most definetly!
She is relentless on getting the job done for her clients. She is honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable, I highly recommend her for a divorce lawyer.
