About Jeremiah
Biography
Jerry Sisk has been handling and trying workers' compensation cases since 2003. While workers' compensation insurers attempt to delay or avoid paying owed benefits to injured workers, Jerry has devoted his career to making sure his clients receive the compensation they deserve.
Earlier in his career, Jerry represented insurance companies so he knows first-hand how these companies defend against lawsuits by manipulating the legal system in their favor. He knows what it takes to prove entitlement to benefits. Because insurance companies have infinite dollars to fight your case they can hire expensive defense lawyers and investigators to assist in the denial of your benefits. Moreover, they can send you to their doctors to obtain medical reports which potentially can be used against you during your case. Jerry understands this and works diligently to make sure that all the necessary steps are taken to win at trial.
Jerry grew up in Minnesota and spent all but his college years living in the Twin Cities. When he was not participating in sports at Wayzata High School, he would be busy “flipping burgers” at his family restaurant. In college, Jerry clerked for former Representative Jim Ramstad in Washington, D.C. Jerry is a graduate of the prestigious James Madison College at Michigan State University and the University of Minnesota Law School.
Jerry is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Minnesota Association of Justice, and Anoka County Bar Association. He is also currently the Treasurer for the Anoka County Bar Association. He is a contributor to the Minnesota Association of Justice Trial magazine, where he is published. He is frequent presenter throughout the State of Minnesota on various workers' compensation topics.
Jerry, his wife, and three kids reside in Blaine, Minnesota. When he is not chasing his kids around the house and coaching their activities, he enjoys snowboarding, woodworking, bicycling, and doing anything outdoors.

I strive to provide professional and competent legal services to my clients and it is unfortunate that this client felt like s/he had an experience other than that. I encourage all of my clients to communicate with me throughout the representation and let me know their concerns along the way so we can discuss them and address any misunderstandings. I welcome emails, phone calls and in person meetings from clients to express their concerns or questions. I am fully aware that most times this is the client’s first and only workers’ compensation case. I wish this client would have done that in this case. While I have no independent recollection of this client and the situation described, I encourage all my clients to be forthright with regard to their past history as it oftentimes plays a significant role in the handling of their case. Their past history will come into play when a judge or defense lawyer assesses the client’s truthfulness or what their physical condition was before the work injury. All of these factors a competent workers compensation lawyer would want to know when assessing a case. Again it is unfortunate that it was interpreted by this client as an attack instead of an attempt to provide good legal representation.
