Klay C. (KC) Ahrens is a partner with the firm and chair of the insurance defense practice. Representing clients including insurance companies and a variety of businesses involved in litigation matters, he concentrates his practice in the following areas:

KC's practice focuses on the successful resolution of all litigation matters, with an emphasis on insurance-related claims and disputes. He has extensive experience aggressively defending automobile accident-related claims; general liability matters such as coverage disputes; and consumer claims and class action lawsuits brought under the Truth-In-Lending Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Minnesota Motor Vehicle Retail Installment Sales Act and Consumer Fraud Act.

KC also represents business entities in mediations, arbitrations and district court actions, including construction and design defects, delay and disruption, and water intrusion issues.
