Aaron C. Young, JD, LLM is a 1997 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in Minneapolis, MN with a Bachelor of Arts in History, a 2001 Juris Doctor graduate of Marquette University Law School, in Milwaukee, WI, and a 2003 Master of Laws graduate of Southwestern Law School, in Los Angeles, CA, specializing in Entertainment & Media Law. While attending law school Mr. Young was a member of the Marquette Sports Law Review. Mr. Young is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Mitchell Hamline Law School, in St. Paul, MN, teaching Independent Film, and a former Adjunct Professor of Law at Hamline University Law School, St. Paul, MN, teaching Sports Law, former Adjunct Professor at William Mitchell College of Law, in St. Paul, MN, teaching Client Representation, and a former Adjunct Professor at McNally Smith College of Music, in St. Paul, MN, teaching Legal Aspects of Music & Entertainment, Business Law, and Contract Law.
Mr. Young is active in the business and charitable world sitting on the Boards or Committees of several for profit and nonprofit Organizations, including the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Legal Advisory Committee for Springboard for the Arts in St. Paul, MN and Vice President of the Board of Directors of Independent Filmmaker Project Minnesota.
