Very Qualified and excellent lawyer
Mr. Rivers handled my case and did not miss any detail. The case was a difficult homicide and he hired the right experts and the right inestigator to put together a defense and I am free now because of his good work. I read the prior review and have to say that my experience was far diffferent.

Sold my dad a dream. Took his money, and dad got convicted. This is what happened on records. Bruce and Martha Holton Dimick were recused. Do not trust this attorney with your life. These are facts LeBrent Speed, juror number 19 was removed and transcripts under oath are coming Paperwork poste...
Mr. Robinson was charged and convicted of criminal sexual conduct. He wanted a continuance of his trial date but the judge denied that request. Then he made comments to me that I was drinking with the prosecutor and that he has people from Michigan to beat me up. So I withdrew from representing Mr. Robinson and gave him his money back which he did not even pay. Someone else tried the case and he was convicted. He appealed his case and lost. He is now a convicted sex offender and must register as a predatory offender. I did nothing improper in his case whatsoever. No ethical violations occurred and no ruling of ineffective assistance of counsel. Complete nonsense.

Just a guy who will get you a plea deal and empty your bank accounts
He’s sleaze. First time offender. Hired this guy because I was refereed to. Months of no communication, and a handful of emails that were only answered by his assistant. Phone meetings were constantly being forgotten and rescheduled. Worst period of my life, ended up being as useless as a wet fart....
Please call my office and let's have a chat. No idea who this is. I do not schedule phone meetings so I know this is a fake review. This is the danger of social media.

Unwilling or unqualified for Federal Cases
Bruce was hired for my wife in a long and serious Federal case with a possible life sentence. He promised a high level of expertise and competence. But when it came to actual representation, he was severely and shockingly deficient. My wife was the least involved in the case and came away with one o...
This review was from David Leuthold It is regarding the United States v. Waralee Wanless. This case was a sex trafficking case where the defendant was charged in federal court with trafficking Thai women. David originally met the defendant as a prostitute. He then married her to keep her in the country. This was her third marriage. From the beginning he never understood the case. I and four other Lawyers with our clients tried a seven week case. We all lost. The evidence that the government had was Overwhelming. The only issue in the case was whether or not the conduct amounted to force, fraud or coercion. I was in constant contact with both the client and her husband David Wanless. He never understood the case. None of the things he mentioned happened. The new lawyer attempted without success to reverse the conviction based upon errors she assigned to me. The court rejected all arguments. Even still she beat the odds by getting 10 years instead of 30 years. We do Lose cases on occasion. This case was a very difficult and complicated case that I put everything I had into. He forced his wife to go to trial when she should’ve really pled guilty. If what he said was true then it would get reversed on appeal. This was almost 5 years ago . He’s been sold a bill of goods by his new lawyer. Every shot that he has called for his wife has gone awry. It’s sad but he just doesn’t understand the case. He always expected a miracle and never really understood how strong the government’s case was. Everything I’ve said here is a matter of public record.

A bad lawyer
I had a bad experience with this attorney, it was a simple case but he made it complicated, once he got the money I never heard from him again until court date, then he was so late to my court that the judge was so fed up of waiting that at the moment he showed up the judge pretty much ignored th le ...
For the life of me I know not who this might be. Read my other reviews. They are real unlike this one. Don’t trust anonymous reviews because they are usually fake. I take pride in the work I do and work hard to develop close relationships with my clients. If this is a real review call me and I’ll refund 100% of your money. But guess what, I won’t hear from you because this is a fake review. Sad.
"Several years ago, I referred a client to Bruce who had become involved in an unfortunate event involving alcohol. Bruce did an admirable job of representing the individual through the criminal court proceedings. I highly recommend Mr. Rivers' services."
"I endorse Mr. Rivers as I know him to be a passionate advocate for his clients and a tenacious opponent in the courtroom. I have been privileged to work with Mr. Rivers on numerous criminal trials. Mr. Rivers' character, experience, and knowledge of the law is very effective in achieving favorable results for his clients."
