Barbara has been praticing exclusively in the area of immigration and nationality law since she graduated with honors from the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1999. She represents individuals and families with their immigration petitions at US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the National Visa Center, (NVC), and US Consulates and Embassies throughout the world.
During law school, Barbara worked an intern at the Immigration Court in Bloomington, MN. She also worked as a law clerk at Centro Legal a non-profit law office serving the Latino community and at a law firm in Minneapolis, MN.
She received double major in Management and Spanish from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. She spent her junior year of college studying in Madrid, Spain.
Prior to attending law school, Barbara worked as a Desk Officer and Desk Assistant at the Peace Corps headquarters in Washington, D.C. for five years. She served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Costa Rica for two years.
